We looked at really a couple of dishwashers and wanted 1 with a stainless interior and an angled top rated basket. The angled top basket is a outstanding feature and gives you very a bit of flexibility in loading plastic stuff that may not ordinarily fit in a standard basket.
I am not certain if I'm permitted to post our purchase spot and price but it was a couple hundred cheaper locally than they are at the moment being sold on right here in the marketplace.
I read the critiques here and, although discouraging, I extra or less dismissed them considering that I suspected that the assessment pool suffered from selection bias. I do NOT mean to dismiss or trivialize the other reviewers experiences. I think that they have indeed had negative experiences with their purchases and that is unquestionably regrettable. My experience has been good, and I am glad I purchased it.
Rather frankly I feel that I myself would be a lot a lot more likely to critique a dishwasher if it gave me a negative knowledge than if it worked fine and as expected. With such a compact number of reviews I suspected that possibly this dishwasher was being the victim of this approach.
Make no mistake... we do not stand around in our kitchen with our hands clasped gleaming proudly at our dishwasher. I do not mean to gush. I am just here to say that we purchased the item based on the characteristics supplied and the assumption that it would carry out to the common of our prior dishwasher (Maytag) just before it croaked.
It does indeed clean the dishes rather nicely, and it gets them drier than our previous dishwasher.
I have to agree with the other people who have not been pleased with this dishwasher. It does not clean well. My coffee mug just came out this morning - once again - dirty, even even though it was on the bottom. Of course, when I see that my mug is not cleaned, every thing else in the dishwasher is suspect. When the dishwasher is quiet, it takes hours to do the job. My old dishwasher was a KitchenAid and cleaned the dishes in half the time - perhaps more quickly. So this machine takes too extended to not even do the job. If I could do it more than, I would not invest in this product. This factor will be replaced as soon as we can afford to replace it.
